For coffee roasters and producers
Coffee traceability from farm to roast
Specialty coffee already sells on origin: farm, variety, altitude and process. IndiTrace turns that story into a record a drinker can open from the bag: the lot, each weighed step from cherry to roasted coffee, the cupping form or lab report, and a fingerprint showing none of it was edited later.
The questions your buyers ask
Is this really the farm on the bag?
The trace page names the farm and lot, with the location on a map.
What happened between the farm and the roastery?
Processing, drying, hulling and roasting are separate recorded steps, with weights at each one.
Which lot is in this bag?
Each roast batch has its own QR code, linked back to the green coffee lot it came from.

- 5

Roast date and batch size, plus the cupping form or lab report.
What your buyer sees

- A blockchain fingerprint for each confirmed record
What IndiTrace does not do. IndiTrace doesn't run EUDR geolocation or deforestation checks, and doesn't file due diligence statements. If you import coffee into the EU, use an EUDR compliance tool for that; a trace page can sit alongside it as evidence your buyer can scan.
Questions
Is IndiTrace an EUDR compliance tool?
No. EUDR compliance needs plot geolocation, a risk assessment and a due diligence statement filed by the operator. IndiTrace's trace pages can sit alongside an EUDR tool as buyer-facing evidence. See the EUDR glossary entry.
Can my mill, exporter or roaster record their own steps?
Yes. Invite each partner to record the step they performed on the batch, so every party records what it did.
Can the trace page show the farm on a map?
Yes. Recorded locations appear on the trace page map, with the route between the farm, the mill and the roastery.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. The Free Starter Pack gives three proof credits for 30 days, enough for a first batch, with no card needed. See plans for what comes after.
